I was very pleased with my experience at Robert's. I found the waitress to be very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was casual with a little bit of elegance. My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal there, and we look forward to many more stops at Robert's on our trips to Maine. Thanks for allowing me to share my comments!

I live in Kennebunk and my friend of more than 40 years lives in Needham, MA. We decided to meet at Robert's for lunch and to "catch up." What a wonderful choice it was. His pan seared cod was "spectacular" and my grilled swordfish was "superb." We both agreed not only to get together again soon but to make Robert's our "official" meeting place.

I LOVE ROBERTS!!! AND I LOVED THE WAITRESS.... HER NAME WAS DEBBIE.... THE BAR TENDER (HE IS MY IDOL) IS SO AWESOME AND HE MAKES THE BEST SHIRLEY TEMPLES!
I've been to Robert's now twice. Love the open and airy atmosphere and the view of the marshes. The fish 'n chips is awesome and the chowder is nice and rich. My Mom had the lobster roll and it was fresh, fresh, fresh!

Robert's is half way for my husband and I. We meet for lunch about once a month when he can't make it home during the week. He works in Portland.
I love the fish, atmosphere, and staff. It can't be beat!
Go to Robert's, you won't be disapointed!
Just returned from a trip to Maine and stopped for lunch with my wife. Great waitress, great food! Clean and bright atmosphere. And thanks for the "Moxie"!! Love that stuff!!

Chef Spinney, fantastic job on lunch - everything was perfect. Steamers, sandwich, salad; each item showed care, attention to detail and innovation. Michael was a true professional, attentive but not obtrusive. Thanks for being part of another great day in Maine.
I aboslulty love Robert's! My friend Erika introduced me less than a month ago and I've been three times
since! This past Tuesday a couple of us went to the community dinner. My oh my I had the best fall dinner. It started out with an radicchio and blue cheese crumble salad with a maple balsamic vinegeratte dressing, pan iron pork with a delicious cranberry port wine reduction and the best sweet potatoes I have ever had (even better than my mom's!) They should be on the menu. I don't think a single person in the entire resturaunt didn't like it! Then dinner was topped off with icecream! Needless to say well be back next week!

We recently had lunch at Robet's, and enjoyed it. It was our first visit - we had previously occasionally been to Robert's forerunner, the Quarterdeck, which we liked.
We found the ambiance very nice, and so were all the people.
We both ordered the crab/avocado melt. While it was good, it was a bit pricey (as was the whole menu -- $2.25 per oyster? Give me a break). I thought, especially for the price, that BOTH fiies and sloaw could have been included. Also, a more interesting bread other than toasted Wonder bread would have helped.

We had another wonderful meal at Robert's. It is kid friendly so we frequently go there for family birthdays with the grandson. The service is always great, the food is always delicious. My husband sampled 3 different types of oysters, the brochetta was wonderful with great tomatoes and a perfect viniagrette. The steamers were sweet and the garlicky broth complimented well. I had a side salad and the dressing was outstanding, it reminded me of the Middle Eastern dressing my grandmother used to make with mint and lemon. We were luck to hit the night of 3.00 off a cocktail night and there are some innovated cocktails to try. The entrees were all good and the portions are hearty. My husband thinks the fish and chips are pretty close to the ones he misses from England. Chef Spinney does a great job in the kitchen! Of course we will be back!calcium08

A Pleasant surprise..I thought it MIGHT be a tourist trap, on RT One. I WAS Wrong~ So Happy to Find a great Atmosphere & Wonderful HOT Food. My Husband is always cautious with little neck clams, he was delighted that he had the option of ordering one. After One Bite he ordered 5 More!! My lunch was a haddock sandwich and my husband had the clam roll. I Must Say the ONION RINGs ROCKED!! Our Waitress, was very attentive & greeted us with a Dip & Crackers. That was a NICE Touch, We were Starving!!! Thank You Roberts Maine Grill..We'll Be Back:)
